CHRISTCHURCH ZIPLINE | NEW ZEALAND
Christchurch Adventure Park is home to both New Zealand’s longest zipline AND the highest zipline in the country. It is one of the best things to do in Christchurch for those with adventurous hearts. There are four ziplines with the whole experience taking around 2-3 hours.
The experience starts with a gondola ride to the top of the Port Hills. Incredible views over Christchurch City and Banks Peninsula mean a camera phone is a must on this trip, just zip it safely in your pockets. Two shorter ziplines start off your experience, with dual ziplines allowing you to race your friend or partner. These 450m ziplines are not really short at all, but nothing compared to what’s to come.
Now ready for some real adventuring, you will hit the highest zipline in New Zealand at 150m before the grand finale. The longest zipline in New Zealand: Over 1000m of dual zipline across the treetops, back to ground level. There is nothing else even close to beating this distance.
HOW TO REACH CHRISTCHURCH ADVENTURE PARK
Self-drive to this spot, just 15 minutes from the CBD, 225 Worsleys Rd, Christchurch.
