Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina shares its facilities with its neighbour The Westin Dubai giving you access to huge gardens, 5 pools, 14 restaurants and bars, a private beach, water sports, and a relaxing spa… what more could you want?
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM LE MERIDIEN MINA SEYAHI
Cracking location
Located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, the resort sits on the edge of Dubai Marina and Media City. The hotel is less than 30 minutes from Dubai International Airport (traffic dependent) and has brilliant public transport links with a tram stop outside that connects with the Palm Jumeirah Monorail and the Dubai Metro.
There is a new waterfront development being built opposite the hotel called Dubai Harbour. Once complete, it will be the biggest and most advanced cruise terminal and marina in the region and will be home to restaurants, bars and shopping outlets within easy reach of Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina.
Comfortable rooms
With only 220 rooms, the hotel is a lot smaller than The Westin next door which was perfect for me. What I love about the rooms at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort is you feel at home. It’s luxurious, super clean but cosy. Most of all, the beds are comfortable with enough pillows supplied to suit all needs. The balcony is spacious with cushioned tables and chairs.
The rooms are equipped with AC, TV, desk electrical outlet, alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities, complimentary bottled water, fruit, fridge, safe, mini bar (for a fee), ironing board/iron and trouser press.
The bathroom was a great size with a hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body moisturiser supplied. In our room, the bath had a fixed shower head which was perfectly warm and powerful.
Enjoy the extensive gardens
There’s a huge area of lush gardens back from the private beach and in front of the Westin Dubai and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi. You will be spoilt for choice with where to plonk yourself on a sun lounger in the various grassy areas or by the swimming pools. There is an adults only area which is a fantastic idea if you want to chill in peace (no offence to parents out there)!
DINING IN LE MERIDIEN MINA SEYAHI
Breakfast in The Latest Recipe
Mornings dining in The Latest Recipe sure did set me up for the day. I always head straight for the cooking station and this chef knows how to make an omelette, some hotels scrimp on the fillings, not this guy! You can find more hot dishes with shakshuka, crepes, pancakes and more.
There was a selection of smoothies, juices and fruits to quench your thirst. If you’re a pastry lover, you will not be disappointed, so many different choices each day. We’ve not finished yet… delve into the cheeseboard, pork station and cereal bar if you can fit this in! The staff were welcoming and love to chat, they even remembered it was my birthday. The staff came out with candle-lit muffins singing for the occasion, lovely touch!
Asian grazing at Sui Mui Restaurant
We ordered the Grazing Table to be shared with 2 people and what an experience. The chef talked through our palates and allergies to ensure the selection in the Grazing Table was perfect for us and he got it just right! The soup was flavourful, the main dishes were mouth-watering and the dessert was exquisite. The fresh ingredients, magnificent presentation and attentive staff made for a wonderful experience. Thankfully I live in Dubai so by the end of the meal I found myself planning my next visit, a great new find!
Ladies Night at Mina’s Kitchen
We indulged in Monday’s Ladies Night at the new concept Mina’s Kitchen at Westin Dubai. The deal was 3 complimentary drinks and a half-price buffet which was immense, there was so much choice to satisfy all palettes from around the world. The interior is stylish but pretty big so we preferred to take in the evening in the terrace, a really enjoyable evening was had by all! They also offer a Long Breakfast and Mariners Seafood Night – would be worth a try!
A touch of Santorini at Fish
I’m a big fan of this casual dining taverna on the beach. As you enter the white-washed narrow entryway with a cobbled floor, you immediately feel the Greek vibes. There is a selection of fish which is sold by weight and cooked to your palette, you can taste the spectacular Aegean cuisine with sharing plates, tzatziki, vine leaves, pasta dishes and much more.
Casual dining at the Horizon Bar
This swim-up bar is perfect in high Dubai temperatures but also serves as a great relaxed place to dine in the evening. They have a real mix of International, European and Arabic flavours with some great happy hour deals.
Going Italian at Bussola
Having eaten here a few times, I can safely say I’ve never had a bad meal. You can opt for formal dining downstairs or the more casual pizzeria on the terrace upstairs. Start with savouring the taste of Aubergine Parmigiana, move on to the stone oven pizzas that just melt in your mouth and finish off with some simple gelato. A real traditional Italian treat.
Up Beet at Bounty Beets
This venue offers a quirky interior and lots of puns on the Up Beet menu with gluten-free, vegan and healthy offerings. As we weren’t feeling so well, we thought an ‘Unbelieva-bowl’ would be a fab option to settle our tummies, it was delicious! Enjoy regular Bounty Beets deals with ‘Social Hour’ from 3-6pm, High Tea Mondays, Up Beet Tuesday, Lunch & Network and even Yoga!
ACTIVITIES AT LE MERIDIEN MINA SEYAHI
Heavenly Spa by Westin
On entering Heavenly Spa by Westin, the soft decor was as warm as the welcome. I was shown around the changing area, given the softest dressing gown I’ve ever felt and enjoyed the jacuzzi and sauna – get there early to make the most of it! My chosen experience was a wonderful Food-for-the-skin body treatment – excellent exfoliation, nourishing body wrap and marvellous massage. After this I chilled with jasmine tea in the relaxation room – true to the spa’s name, it was heavenly!
Keeping fit at the resort
If you can’t still on the sun lounger and love a spot of aqua-action, check out the water sports centre which offers a full range of activities from skiing, SUP, windsurfing, wake boarding, and kayaking, banana or donut ride.
Working off the breakfast feeds and ramping up the fitness levels is easy with the well-equipped gym ‘Club Mina’, volleyball courts and tennis courts to work on your serve.
Keep the kids entertained
I don’t have kids but it was great to see there were lots of activities for the kids so parents can take some time to zone out too. The little ones will not be bored with a kids’ club, games on the beach and two shaded children’s pools.
SPECIAL TOUCHES AT LE MERIDIEN MINA SEYAHI
Birthday wishes from the Marriott team
Not sure how the hotel knew it was my birthday, whether it was from Marriott Bonvoy details or registering passports on check-in, but when I went to my room after a day on the sun loungers I found flowers, a birthday card and a small cake with a chocolate wafer with ‘Happy Birthday’ written in gold. It’s these touches that make you feel warm towards the atmosphere of a hotel.
Earn points with Marriott Bonvoy
I’d not had a Marriott Bonvoy membership before but as a new user and I went straight up to Silver Elite status after staying for over 10 days which comes with additional benefits. This is well worth having to work up to free nights in any of the Marriott Hotels!

You now we love our luxury stays! So we will definitely have to check out Le Meridien Mina Seyahi the next time we visit Dubai. Especially good since we have Marriott status!. Love that it shares facilities with the Westin Dubai to increase what you can do. Love that there is lots of green spot to relax out of the sun. We would spend a lot of time eating fresh fish at the beach taverna. But it certainly looks like we will be spoiled for choices of great spots to eat.
I know you like a decent hotel, I think you’d like this one. And yes, the Marriott points are definitely a plus!
I can see myself staying here, I do like my luxury now and again the Le Meridien Mina-Seyahi looks beautiful. I love the decor of the rooms and the beds sure look like you can get a comfortable sleep but the view overlooking the resort is a great one to wake up too. Can also see myself in the pool if I didnt fancy sightseeing in Dubai. Havent been to Dubai yet (its on the list to check out soon) and would give the hotel a stay.
The gardens really are a lovely place to chill, lots of swimming pools to choose from and attentive staff to tend to your needs!
Wow, I love the look of Le Meridien Mina Syahi in Dubai! What is really appealing to me is that it’s so close to the Arabian shore but you can also retreat to the beautiful gardens. I am a big fan of being close to nature and those settings–beach and garden–are two of my favorites! The dining options look delicious as well. Sounds like they’ve covered many dining options, including Vegan, but my favorite would definitely be Greek!
The Greek ‘fish’ restaurant at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort right by the shore has a lovely, relaxed vibe. The resort has wonderful beach & garden area, can’t fault this.
Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Dubai looks like the perfect place to rewind and relax for a couple of days. I love the fact the rooms are comfortable and make you feel at home. Plus, the grazing table looks like a great thing to try out. I had never even heard of it. And suddenly, it is the most wanted thing in my life! I will make sure I will check this hotel out whenever I wish to splurge next.
The Grazing Table experience at Sui Mui was a wonderful restaurant, I can’t describe how amazing the flavours were!
Hi Vanessa, thanks for the lovely blog on Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort. I was traveling to Dubai but I never been there. You have nicely described the total view of the resort. I love the breakfast and smoothies, juices and fruits to quench most. I would definitely be there for my next trip.
I’d recommend checking out Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort when you next visit Dubai. I loved the smoothies at breakfast, full of flavour.
The resort setting is wonderful, with beach and palm trees. What attracts me is the food, it looks very exotic. I have not been in Dubai yet. There are so many hotels there and it is difficult to choose. It is nice to have the inside view to this one so at least I know what I would get. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked the blog, the setting is stunning. The food and restaurants really are a plus point to Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort.
What a lovely find! The location is good with transport links and a beach area nearby. Not only that the opportunity to access a huge selection of restaurants is a big plus, if you’ve been out exploring all day it’s nice to go back to your hotel for dinner. The breakfast sounds good too! Thanks for sharing, I’ll keep this in mind for my next visit to Dubai.
There is a fabulous selection of restaurants at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Westin Dubai with varying themes, the only problem is which to choose first.
The bed and the pillows look so cozy. I’m sure sleeping on it will make you dream good things. I also like the dining choices in the hotel, and those Asian cuisine definitely makes me hungry. And the birthday wishes you got from them was really sweet.
I was so impressed with all the birthday wishes at breakfast as well as in my room at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort, it’s those things that make a lasting impression.
Wow! This place looks great. I also think that it’s perfect. The rooms are beautiful and adequate. The food looks delicious too. Love the idea of casual dining taverna on the beach.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience.
Happy I could bring this lovely resort to your attention, hope you get to stay there one day!
